This composition chooses to use a complementary color scheme through its use of light blue and orange. The composition also makes use of lines and triangular shapes by the "breaking" of the face. There is also a clear focal point made in the center of the composition. The piece is slightly tilted, yet still remains balanced.

The second composition follows a complimentary color scheme with its use of a red background and green shirt. The third composition follows a monochromatic color scheme through its use of different yellows. The fourth composition follows a triadic color scheme through its use of the primary colors.

The random colors inside the grid-like shapes tends to remind people of the video game, Tetris. All of these colors or shapes by themselves wouldn't have any meaning to it. But by combining the two together, the composition takes on a whole "new" meaning.
